Daniel Villarreal is a photographer and furniture designer based in San Francisco, California. In 2014 he earned a BFA in Industrial Design from the Academy of Art University. Soon after he went on to lead product design and branding for luxury furniture retailer Coup D’Etat.

Daniel’s work is grounded in a natural and iterative process rooted in design thinking. Whether he is designing a chair or taking portraits of Bay Area Musicians, he finds success in a thoughtful and planned approach that leaves room for exploration and takes advantage of unexpected opportunities. Currently Daniel is freelancing with projects spanning product and lifestyle photography, branding and graphics, and furniture design.
